Creating handmade "felt" is my current fiber art focus.  I use a wet-felting process that allows me to utilize a variety of materials including Merino and Churro wool, silk gauze, yarns, ribbons, recycled bits, etc.  Various felting techniques give me the chance to "paint and sculpt" with fibers to produce everything from decorative to utilitarian art pieces !  If you have never tried felting, what fun awaits you...wall art, apparel, lamps, dolls, baskets, bags and yes--even portable homes are made using the ancient art of felting.
